1991
While the Economic Strategy Planners were planning to launch the reforms for Economic Liberalization, HIT Flying Insect Killer (Kaala HIT) was born in January'91 to liberalize the housewives of mixing & making the concoction and spraying it. The latter hit the market in a Do-it-yourself Aerosol Format, the first of its kind in India. Later, in December, HIT Crawling insect killer (Laal HIT) made its debut providing an efficacious solution for the cockroaches.
1994
As the classic, "Hum Apke Hain Kaun" hit the public screens; the first TV commercial for Laal HIT- Crawling Insect Killer hit the domestic ones. Both of them were an instant hit!
2003
While India was recovering from the Pink-Slips held out during the Telecom Crash in 2001 and the pockets were still constrained, HIT came out with the economic pack of 250ml to relieve some pressure. Above all, to cool down the wits, the "Supari" campaign came across.
2005
While in the afternoon, the fans were applauding for Sachin's entry into 10000 runs club, the mosquitoes were forcing a clap rap in the evening. HIT came up with the new commercial, so that one could enjoy the match highlights without disturbance!
2006
Where it was proving to be a wild goose chase for the Nepali police to catch the Maoists, HIT Crawling Insect Killer came out with the innovative 'Seek and Kill Applicator' which could kill the hidden cockroaches as well.
2007
In 1942, it was us Indians with the Black flags against the White Britishers in the Quit India Movement. 65 years later, it was us Indians with the Black HIT against the Black Mosquitoes in the sequel. HIT was so serious that it launched the 150ml variant to enable the sober sections of the society as well to get rid of Mosquitoes.
2008
As Tata hit the market with the world's cheapest hatchback, HIT launched the most economic 700 ml pack for the regular users!
2009
The pests are eating up the society through corruption and the scams are getting surfaced. While we struggled to take on strong measures to prevent corruption, HIT took the oath of killing the flying pest in the house to prevent the deadly disease- Malaria. Since even a single mosquito is dangerous, there has to be no mercy!
2010
While you were on a month long holiday to Johannesburg for the FIFA World Cup, Laal HIT (Crawling Insect Killer) had taken the oath of "6 weeks no cockroach", so you could go and enjoy without bothering about the rising population of filthy aliens back at home!
2012
